Education or experience in Agriculture is major asset. Must be physically fit enough to do duties such as to lift 30lb sample trays. Must be comfortable using technology, have good critical thinking abilities, able to communicate well with management and staff they are working along side.

Job Description:
Quality control manager would manage all aspects of Potato Quality across all seasons.
Duties would include but not limited to:
Spring- duties would consist of overseeing planter accuracy testing, Fertilizer calibrations, seed quality checks, assisting in field trial set up, etc.
Summer would consist of data collection such as crop development, petiole testing, 10' strip data collection, (possible) soil testing & crop scouting and various other duties on Monaghan farms as well as withing our grower group.
Fall duties would include managing and overseeing Bruise management protocols, fall raw grade sampling, YSI sugar testing in field, Trial collection and various other duties.
Late fall/winter/early spring- Our group stores & ships product from oct-august. Duties during this time includes Bi-weekly storage Sugar and quality testing. Overseeing of quality of product prior to shipping as well as other various duties.
All of our data collection in outlined duties is entered into different platforms -Ag expert, Crop Track (Frito Lay software), and PATH (Our own software).
