Qualifications:
-Years of Experience Required: No experience required, will be trained
-No educational requirement
-Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs)
-Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
-Ability to work independently and in a fast paced team environment
-Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
-Mechanical aptitude and previous experience working in farm operations would be considered an asset
-Basic conversational French or English is required.
Key Responsibilities:
-Equipment operation
-Equipment repair and maintenance as required
-Grading, planting, and harvesting potatoes

Job Description:
Cavendish Farms is looking for full time seasonal Research Farm Labourers for a period of 6 months, to work at our Research Facility in New Annan, PE. Expected start date will be on or about August 1st, 2021 to October, 2021. Reporting to the Research Plant Breeder, the Research Farm Labourer will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
