Job Description:
Vegetable farm looking to fill variety of positions working in the fields and packaging in the warehouse.
Duties include harvesting carrots, packaging, and grading.
No experience or education is required employee will be trained.
Successful candidates should have the following abilities, lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, kneel for long periods of time also bending over, tolerate the heat, cold, wet, and dry weather, also tolerate working in load environments (hearing protection provided) Speak English is not required for some positions. CSA approved footwear are required.
Employees provide there own CSA approved footwear, warm clothes, the employer will provide the gloves. and rain gear. Employees have the access to washrooms, lunchroom, microwaves, fridge, and coffee. Current hours are 8-4:30 however employees are asked to work evenings and Saturdays.
Flexible hours are tolerated for the right reasons. Pay starts at min wage per hour. Employee who brings/learns valuable skills will be paid more.
