Required Skills:
Post-Secondary education in the Science/Bioscience field is considered an asset.
Experience in a related field and/or Extraction is viewed as a strong asset.
Ability to work independently and safely.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Team player with a collaborative attitude able to work cohesively in a group or independently.
A criminal records check will be required to be completed by the successful candidate.

Job Description:
Working closely with the Extraction team, the Extraction Technician will be responsible to ensure the organizations performance standards and day to day operations for cannabis oil production are met and maintained at the highest level.

Regular Duties

Operator in production laboratory for cannabis oil.
Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction.
Operation, maintenance and sanitation of highly sophisticated extraction equipment.
Ensure that proper sanitation is maintained for all production equipment and tools including work-spaces, processing equipment, containers, and appliances.
Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used.
Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to guidelines, and keeping treatment, storerooms and working areas immaculate.
Washing and sterilizing formulation glassware.
Working with controlled substances in a GMP environment.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
To be determined per hour for 40 hours per week
