Job Description:
As a Process Control Operator, you will have a complete understanding of the potato granule production process. Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will monitor the computer system controlling the plant machinery and make adjustments as required from the central control room. This position operates on a scheduled 12 hour day/night shift. Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities Include:
– Monitors all areas of the production process via PC based automated control systems
– Monitors all areas of control system troubleshooting and correcting problems when required
– Frequent communications with all areas of production
– Tracks and documents operating parameters
– Informs other employees of unsafe working and operating practices and reports any action sited to supervisor if not corrected immediately
– Performs any duty assigned including plant clean-up, housekeeping or operation of any area required
– Follows all housekeeping policies according to good manufacturing practices
– Responsibilities of this position may change according to company operating policy
Wages:
$16.00 per hour for 42-48 hours per week
