Required Skills:
• College diploma or University degree in Business, preferably in Human Resources Management.
• CPHR or CPHR candidate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role with significant HR responsibilities.
• Experience identifying needs, planning and providing advice on HR, operational and workflow issues.
• Ability to prioritize, plan and effectively manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Multilingualism would be an asset.

Job Description:
The Human Resources/Office Manager will be a member of the administrative team at our main office in Mount Albion, PE. This individual will oversea the office management and human resources functions for 140+ staff members of Vanco Farms and it’s subsidiaries.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the development and assist with the implementation of various HR policies, plans and procedures.
• Provide advice and guidance to management in regards to HR related policies and employment legislation.
• Manage the recruitment life cycle from creating, revising and implementing job descriptions to creating job advertisements, screening, interviewing, reference checking and extending job offers to applicants.
• Oversea payroll process for 140+ employees and participate in compensation reviews and the creation of compensation strategies.
• Manage, coordinate and participate in various HR related projects.
• Provide advice and support to all staff in regards to employee related issues, inquiries and requests.
• Other duties as required.
To be negotiated per hour for 40 hours per week
