Job Description:
Leonard Carver Poultry Inc. is a commercial-scale broiler (chicken) operation located in Alliston PEI. The Farm is a member of Chicken Farmers of Canada and Chicken Farmers of PEI, and participates in annual third-party audits to ensure the highest level of On Farm Food Safety (OFFSAP) and Animal Care (ACP).
We are seeing 1 x Farm Labourer to join our team.
The Farm Labourer works 1:1 with the Farm Operations Manager, and participates in the following tasks and duties related to Farm Management
All aspects of broiler chicken husbandry and production
Environmental barn management for animal comfort and care
Facilities and equipment operation and maintenance
Grounds management
Other farm duties as required
Previous farm experience an asset, but not required
Must be able to follow instruction, and demonstrate a willingness to learn
