Job Description:
- Operating farm machinery and farm equipment
- Performing light maintenance on farm machinery and farm equipment
- Assist with farm chores relating to crop management
- Assist in clean up of working area
- Farm Record Keeping
- Assist with the setting up and calibrating seed drills and spraying equipment;
- Spot check all equipment and machinery for repair requirements in between scheduled routine maintenance;
- Advise Farm Manager of any breakdowns, or pending breakdowns in farm machinery and equipment, that will cause unscheduled down time or compromise the safety of the staff;
- Assist in all activities relating the growing and harvesting of crops such as , but not limited to, pre-seeding, seeding, mid season plant weed control, harvest and storage;
- Assist in maintenance and repairs to buildings and fencing;
