Description: The Legacy Garden is an 8.5 acre celebratory and educational landscape in the heart of Charlottetown, featuring: one hundred and fifty community garden plots; a diverse community orchard; children’s gardens; a food security, Goodwill Garden and demonstration/research activities. These gardens supply the local food bank, homeless shelters. The Farm Centre Association is creating a beautiful functional and productive garden landscape; a place for people to learn about food, gardening, and our island agriculture heritage. Many projects are undertaken with the PEI Food Exchange and we have many enthusiastic volunteers who work with us.
