Job Description:
SEASONAL TRUCK DRIVER (June 1 - Nov 15)
Norring Road Custom has offered corn planting, and harvesting of grass silage, corn silage, and cobmeal to farm clients across the island since 2017. We operate two crews, each containing a self propelled harvester and two large dump trucks to haul the feed. We pride ourselves in treating your feed needs as if they were our own.
Reporting to the Head Mechanic and the Operations Manager, Truck Drivers are reliable and can follow direction on care and basic maintenance of the truck they are operating. The position requires a Class 3A license.
Qualifications & Skills:
Perform all tasks with care and efficacy, over speed
Experience operating standard dump trucks
Valid driver’s license and good abstract
Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
Ability to follow direction on basic maintenance
Applicants who can only commit to part-time or a differing length of employment will be entertained as well.
