Job Description:
Full time permanent position available at newland farms inc, a progressive dairy operation milking 300 Holsteins in hunter river, PE.
We are looking to strengthen our team with an energetic, open minded individual. Tasks would include feeding, maintaining equipment and machinery, fixing and replacing items in the barns, all field work including silage cutting, raking, hauling, spreading manure, cultivating, harrowing, planting.
position is for 45 hours weekly with some weekend duties required. Hours are consistent between November and May. Some extra time required in cropping season. Individual must be physically fit, have strong communication and organizational skills, be a team player, able to speak/ read/ write English, Strong mechanical skills, experienced in operating machinery. Wages based on experience and housing is available for the right applicant.
