Job Description:
Vegetable farm looking to fill variety of poitions working in the fields and packaging warehouse.
Duties include planting, picking, weeding, packaging. No experience or education required employer will train. Successful candidates should have the following abilities, lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, tolerate the heat, cold, wet and dry weather, also tolerate working in load environments (hearing Protection provided) speak English is not required for some positions, CSA approved foot wear are required.
Employees provide there own CSA approved foot wear, gloves, warm clothes the employer will provide the rain gear. employees have access to washrooms, lunchroom, microwaves, fridge and coffee. Current hours are 8-4:30 However employees are occasionally asked to work evenings and/or Saturdays (Summer hours are 7:30-4:30). Flexible hours are tolerated for the right reasons. Pay starts at 12:25 per hour. Employee who bring/learn valuable skills will be paid more.
