• Minimum of 1+ years of Packing Machine Operator experience required
• Excellent work ethic with a high level of responsibility
• Must be willing to lead the other workers on the line
• Must be accurate and timely in completion of required paperwork
• Must have a strong commitment to Safety and Food Safety
• Food plant related training and/or certifications are a plus!
• Detail oriented, well organized, positive and solution oriented

Job Description:
Position Summary
The Packing Line Operator is part of the warehouse facility processing team that is grading, processing and packaging potatoes and tulips. The Operator is responsible for running a variety of packing lines within our facility.
Position Responsibilities
• Operates equipment on the packing line and manages crew to meet packing goals
• Ensures all employees on crew are following safety protocols and wearing PPE as necessary
• Monitors equipment for proper mechanical operations and efficiency
• Works closely with other departments (Maintenance, Quality, etc..) to ensure product specifications are met for optimal performance
• Completes necessary documentation and reports accurately, and on-time
• Troubleshoots problems with packing lines and makes necessary adjustments to minimize downtime
• Assists in sanitation and moving of equipment when needed
• Other duties as assigned
Wages:
15.00 to 17.00 per hour
