Job Description:
The successful individual will be responsible for performing plant tissue culture procedures, helping to maintain cleanliness and generally ensuring the smooth running of the facilities.
Qualifying individuals must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. We are in a rapidly evolving industry and we are growing quickly, therefore this team member must be flexible with helping in other areas as needed. The ability to learn quickly and react to change is viewed as a very strong asset.
Regular Duties:
• Prepare selected tissues for production using aseptic technique.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory; clean, sterilize and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Understand and adhere to strict SOPs for all laboratory duties.
• Operate equipment including laminar flow hood, autoclave, and pH meter.
• Utilize Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to record and maintain data records using approved forms and a controlled notebook.
• Assist production team during down time on overall maintenance of plants.
• **Other duties as assigned.
Wages:
$15 per hour (40 hours a week)
