Job Description:
Provide agricultural livestock services such as artificial insemination, spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses; Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems; Formulate feeding program; Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs; Maintain livestock performance records; Boar semen collection; Feed inventory; Handling animals; Processing pig litters; Weaning; Livestock branding
Monitoring animal health
Tractor Experience; Automated manure handling or storage system
Animal breeding
Swine; Pork
Hog and pig farming; Hog management; Livestock combination farming
Wages:
$11.55 to $13.00 per 37.5 hours (to be negotiated)
