Required Skills:

Ability to:
• Establish effective working relationships with the Management team, other employees, and the public
• Communicate well with others in both technical and non-technical terms
• Prepare accurate and reliable reports containing findings, recommendations, and any associated documentation
• Operate a personal computer using word processing, spreadsheet and database applications appropriate to assigned duties
• Use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to written specifications and/or oral instructions
• Perform a wide variety of supervisory and public relations tasks with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines

Education/Experience/Training:
• Education in agronomy is preferred but not required depending on experience
• Ability to drive a forklift is preferred but not required

Job Description:
This position performs a combination of administrative and professional work to direct, promote and coordinate the retail location operations in a manner that will optimize the locations sales and service to it’s existing client base as well manage relationships with new clients. The Assistant Manager/ Sales Representative will be promoting and supporting the locations portfolio of agronomy products including, fertilizer, crop protection products, seed and services to improve efficiency and profitability.

Job Description and Qualifications:
• Promote, sell, and support, the retail operation with respect to crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed, and service
• Practice and encourage work place safety and hold employees accountable to practice work place safety
• Directs, manages, and coordinates the activities and operations of the retail location under the supervision and direction of the Manager
• Coordinates assigned activities with other divisions and customers.
• Agronomy experience preferred.

Wages:
35000-45000 per year
